MEADOW WALK BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
April 19, 2005, 7:00 PM at the Fruitville Library
Directors Present: Joe Stewart, Betsy Dane, Andrea DelSanto
Absent: Josh Ridenour, John Finlay
Joe Stewart called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Betsy Dane read the minutes from the January 27, 2005 Directorsâ meeting, which were approved as read.
Joe indicated that things are running smoothly, the landscaping seems to be on track, the wall has been washed, and any spots which need repainting will be handled under the warranty from Porter Paints.
The directory is on track, Betsy is compiling the names of new homeowners and will get with Joe to work on completion.
Financially, the association is in good shape, with $16,500 in the bank. The direct mailing of dues is running smoothly.
It was requested that the modifications committee submit their minutes, as three meetings have been held without the results being recorded.
Betsy suggested that she will be working on a ãspring reminderä letter to go to all homeowners, with notes about such items as yard sales, the alligators, dog-cleanup and leashing, rentals, etc.
John Shableski brought up the issue of parking trailers and RVs. After much discussion concerning the ambiguity about parking which is in our by-laws (even on the same page ö e.g. the law states that parking is allowed on the street, but the association forbids street parking), it was moved that an amendment be presented to all homeowners for adoption. As Joe indicated that we cannot have ãzero-toleranceä for those people in the community who need a chance to load or clean their RVs or boats, the timing of 36 continuous hours was settled on, and an amendment will be prepared for vote. Once an amendment is passed, it will be included in our original documents in red type for ease of notation.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Betsy Dane, Secretary/Treasurer
Personal note: I would like to extend my apologies to all homeowners and to my fellow Directors for the delay in producing these minutes. Due to computer errors, and the loss of some notes, it took some time to recreate this information. My thanks to Eddie Martin for all of his assistance.
